It’s that time again! Amazon Prime Day is just around the corner, and this year it’s going to be bigger than ever. You can expect more than a million deals online that you won’t want to miss.

Let the craziness begin!

When Is Amazon Prime Day?

Set a reminder (with your Alexa that you bought last year) for Prime Day on Monday July 15th and Tuesday July 16th, 2019!

For those who haven’t participated in the online shop’s annual sale before, you’re going to want to this year. Prime Day is the Black Friday of summer, and there are deals on everything you can imagine, especially highly covetable Amazon products. Every year, the sales get bigger and better.

Because we’re still waiting on the specifics of what million-plus items will be on sale, we can help you prepare before the big day so you can make the most of it!

Amazon Prime Membership

For starters, if you’re not already an Amazon Prime member, sign up. Not so sure you want to commit? Sign up for the 30-day trial, and you’ll still be able to access all the deals. For a year-long membership, it’s only $119, which is totally worth it for all the deals you’ll get on Prime Day and beyond. Plus, you can’t beat 2-day shipping. #heaven

If you’re not looking to pay $119 upfront, Amazon offers a monthly subscription for just $12.99 per month.

The Deals

When the deals go live on Prime Day, you’ll find on the homepage a mix of Lightning Deals and Spotlight Deals. Amazon usually releases new ones every 5 minutes, so you’ll want to refresh, refresh, refresh that browser!

The Lightning Deals only last for a set amount of time, so get them before time runs out. You’ll be able to see the individual time remaining on each Lightning Deal, too.

The Spotlight Deals last until the item is sold out, so shop quickly — once they’re gone, they’re gone. Depending on the item and sale price, these can sometimes sell out rather quickly, so if you want it, get it!

You Can Save at Whole Foods, Too!

For Prime Day 2018, Prime members were also able to save big offline at Whole Food Markets across the U.S. In stores, members received 10% off hundreds of sale items and popular products. Amazon Prime rewards members with an eligible Prime membership also got 10% back when they shopped at Whole Foods during the Prime sale.

Expect to see a similar in-store sale this year. Just make sure you’re prepared. Have the Whole Food Market App or Amazon App downloaded on your phone, because you’ll need the QR Prime Code for the cashier.

As we get closer to July, be sure to check back for more Prime Day 2019 updates.
